What Needs to Change?
Oversight
The changes we need to see must be overseen by a new Vice-Provost for Disability to ensure the needs of Disabled Students are met in all areas of education and college life.
Guarantees
The College must guarantee that all reasonable and necessary accommodations provided for in LENS Reports are met by the end of this Term.
Reports Processing
We need a total overhaul of the LENS Report system with a new method of ensuring that supports guaranteed in an individuals LENS Report are met. The burden to ensure needs are met must not be left on the Student.
Achieving LENS Report Fulfilment
The reasonable and necessary accommodations which LENS Students require must be passed on to Teaching Assistants (TAs) to ensure accommodations are met in non-Lecture learning environments.
